Am I a W2 employee or 1099 contractor?

1099 independent contractor. You're your own boss, you own your book of business, and you file as self-employed. That also means full flexibility on hours, location, and how you work.

Do I need to already be licensed?

No. If you're unlicensed, we sponsor your pre-licensing course, cover the exam fee, and guide you through the state application. Most new recruits are licensed within 2–3 weeks.

Is there a buy-in, franchise fee, or lead cost?

Zero. No buy-in, no franchise fee, no lead cost. You keep 100% of your contracted commission. The only thing you bring is your time and effort.

Can I work part-time?

Yes. Many of our top performers started part-time alongside another job. Warm leads are delivered on-demand based on your availability window. Most side-hustlers go full-time once their commission matches their salary.

How fast until I see my first commission?

Most agents write their first policy in week 3–4. Carrier-issued advance commission hits your account within 7–14 days of policy approval. We use carriers that advance on issue, not on first premium.

Are there territory restrictions?

None. You can write in any state you're licensed in. We handle non-resident licensing reimbursement so you can expand your footprint without fronting the cost.

What happens with chargebacks?

Chargebacks happen when a policy lapses in the first 12 months. You're responsible for your portion, but Omnia provides chargeback protection that caps your exposure and rolls the debt against future commissions — not your bank account.

Do I own my book of business?

Yes. Every policy you write is vested to you. If you ever leave Omnia, your renewals continue paying per your carrier contract. Your book is your asset — not ours.

How are leads delivered?

Through our CRM and auto-dialer. When you're logged in and available, warm pre-qualified prospects — people who filled out a real quote request — are routed directly to you. No cold calling, ever.

What software or tech do I need?

A laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a headset. Everything else — CRM, dialer, e-app, carrier portals, compliance tools — is provided on day one.
